Privacy Policy

PsychLog is a logbook tool for Australian provisional psychologists, operated in Australia by Mindfluence Pty Ltd. This policy explains what information PsychLog holds, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: we collect only what the product needs to work, we store it in Australia, we don't sell it or use it for advertising, and you can take it with you or delete it at any time.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and (optionally) your Ahpra registration number, which appears on the reports you generate.
- Your logbook — the internship entries you record: practice sessions, education activities, supervision sessions, supervisor names, reflections, and de-identified client codes.
- Billing status — your subscription state and plan. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by PsychLog.
- Feedback — anything you send through the in-app feedback form, along with the page it was sent from.
PsychLog uses cookies only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Client privacy by design
PsychLog is built so that your clients' personal information never enters the system: the Board requires logbook client references to be de-identified codes, and PsychLog only asks for codes — never names or contact details. Please keep it that way (see the Terms of Service): don't enter information that could identify a client in any free-text field.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored in Supabase's Sydney, Australia region (on AWS infrastructure), encrypted in transit and at rest, with row-level security so each account can only reach its own records. The application itself is served by Vercel. Our service providers are:
- Supabase (database and authentication) — Sydney, Australia
- Vercel (application hosting)
- Stripe (payments)
How we use it
To run PsychLog for you: showing your logbook, computing your progress against Board requirements, generating your reports, and managing your subscription. We may email you about your account (for example, trial reminders or important changes to the service). We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
Who can see it
You. Additionally, the PsychLog administrator can see account-level information — your email, sign-up date, activity, and subscription status — for support and account administration. We do not open your logbook content unless you ask us to while we're helping you with a support issue, or the law requires it.
Your rights and your exit
- Export — your full logbook is exportable to Excel/CSV from inside the app, any time, no questions asked.
- Correction — you can edit any of your own data directly in the app.
- Deletion— email us and we'll permanently delete your account and all its data. Do your export first; deletion is not reversible.
If something goes wrong
If a data breach ever affects your information, we'll notify you promptly by email with what happened, what was affected, and what we're doing about it, consistent with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll let you know by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Questions, corrections, or deletion requests: hello@psychlog.com.au.
